Today was yet another busy Kohn day. We started out at the Soreq stalactite and stalagmite caves near Beit Shemesh. The boys loved it! Each time I see the caves (both here and in the states) I can't help but say, "Mah Rabu Maasecha Hashem--how wondrous are Hashem's creations!"
Next we continued to Ramla for a quick stop at the Pool of the Arches. The boys loves rowing around the ancient cistern in the rowboats. We spent about a half an hour looking for the ancient writings until we finally gave up...and then we found it on the way out.
Next we continued on to Modiin mall where I did some Hebrew book shopping for BPY and where we met Shoshana and family for dinner and a night activity of Park Anava. Shoshana had told us that the park is packed at night with kids playing and families eating. I couldn't even fathom what she was talking about until I saw hundreds and hundreds of people and young kids playing in the park until all hours. I guess its too hot to play during the day, so why not keep your kids up until midnight?! The kids had a blast!!! Filthy and exhausted, we arrived home with great memories!
