Welcome to the next installment of The Kohn family summer Israel trip. We left NJ yesterday afternoon (many thanks to Eric Orgen for driving us to the airport). We arrived three hours early and decided to use our free United club passes. Upon entering, Joshua exclaimed, "This is where the fancy people wait for their planes!" He knew that it was good from the moment he saw it. The kids enjoyed snacking on fresh fruit and hot chocolate. Definitely something we could get used to!
The flight was really easy and uneventful an not only did we land early, but we got through customs and got our luggage in a matter of minutes.
Savta and Roy met us and helped us get all of our luggage (and kids) to Raanana! Our Ford Galaxy is definitely not the Honda Odyssey...and we really packed relatively lightly...obviously all relative since Yehuda brought his 3 laptops, portable printer, scanner and TONS of miscellaneous other stuff!
After a delicious pizza lunch and ice cream dessert, the kids all bathed and are now just "chilling out" for a few hours until we make the trek up to Beit Rimon for Shabbat.
Thanks to Sarah and James for opening their home to us! We are counting the minutes until we see them next week. Shabbat shalom everyone!
